Unlike most building in Droitwich, this complex of three ranges seems to have escaped major structural changes during this time period.
From photographic evidence it seems that sash windows were inserted in the north (street frontage) range at ground and first floor levels, probably in the 18th century. An 18th century door and small porch above also appear to have been added on the street frontage. These remained until the restoration of the building in the 1970s.
Some additions were made to the south east wing, which Freddie Charles recorded, but largely the building remained as it was.
(Early 20th century photographs suggest an element of lack of maintenance, which would become a more significant problem going forwards.)
